NRA Basic Rifle Shooting Course

The NRA Basic Rifle Shooting Course is for new or beginning rifle shooters.  The course covers all the basic aspects of shooting a rifle and familiarizes the student with the different types of rifles.  The course covers how to operate, load, unload, breakdown, clean, ect. the different types of rifles as well as how to properly shoot them.  If you have never shot a rifle, or have never been given any formal training, then this course is for you.  

 

The fundamentals of shooting a rifle are all same, whether you are shooting a .22 caliber or a large .50 caliber BMG.  This is a First Steps course to maximize time.

Enrollment Fee:  $120

 

Duration: 4 hours.

 

Student will need a rifle with iron sights (.22 caliber is fine)  and 100 rounds of ammunition.    NO RIFLE SCOPES
